Class Ideas

Most classes will be hosted on a “Pay What You Can” Basis. Comparable classes range from $0-$30/hour. Many experiments show that this model results in higher income for many services, however it is more difficult to predict.

Many classes can be tailored to seasonal activities, and can therefore be repeated several times throughout the year, based on interest.

Classes will be hosted at standard times for specified age groups. All of these groupings are suggested, and unless otherwise stated for legal reasons, anyone wanting to participate will be welcome.

As classes become available, they will show up as links with information on location, times and specific content.

        • We will provide a variety of simple instruments. We will encourage open exploration of the instruments in any way that will not damage the attendants or instruments. During the course of the class, instructors may demonstrate the intended use for the instrument. By refraining from this instruction up front we are fostering creative thinking, self discovery and problem solving. By demonstrating the intended use, we are encouraging proper use and creativity within boundaries. The instruments we provide will be from many different cultures and offer discussions of culture, geography, and history.
